Since its inception in 2004, the mission of the 1College Project has been to enhance Dickinson College's innovative capabilities by enabling collaboration across the campus community and providing reliable, real-time information to administrators, faculty, students, and alumni.  As part of this initiative, the HR/Payroll implementation team has been focusing for the last several months on transitioning to the Banner HR/Payroll system in January 2006.  Most of its work to date has been behind the scenes with little visible impact.  However, there will be changes for both you and the HR/Payroll office in the coming months.

Depending on your employment status and position, a few of the enhanced services you can expect to receive throughout next year will include the following:

  • Improved flexible spending account reimbursement
  • Electronic pay advices (beginning January 2006)
  • Benefit enrollment and tax information available online
  • Pay history available online
  • Electronic time entry

 

In the next few weeks, you will be receiving detailed information describing these new services as well as when they will be available to you.  Information will also be available on the HR Services web page at www.dickinson.edu/hrservices  and on the 1College Project web page at http://1college.dickinson.edu.
